Toyota introduces the Starlet Cross, a sleek new compact SUV that blends style and functionality. With its dynamic design, versatile features, and advanced safety technology, the Starlet Cross brings a refreshing edge to Toyota’s SUV lineup. Whether on city streets or open roads, this vehicle is built to impress inside and out.

Toyota has added another model to its SUV and crossover line up in the form of the Toyota Starlet Cross.

The Starlet Cross boasts an aerodynamically sculpted silhouette that fuses SUV practicality with a contemporary hatchback design.
Upfront, a striking grille with chrome garnish commands attention and is flanked by reprofiled LED headlamps, accompanied by twin LED daytime running lights that enhance visibility and add a touch of sophistication.

Along the side the Starlet Cross features a dynamic three-dimensional surface that contrasts light and shade and in doing so accentuates its athletic profile.

At the rear the Starlet Cross is characterised by connected LED taillights that extend from end to end. A sporty rear skid plate and roof spoiler round off the rear.

Ground clearance of 170mm and the fitment of 16-inch alloy wheels ensure a unique balance between flair and functionality.

Thoughtfully crafted interior

Inside, the cabin is thoughtfully crafted with a three-tone dashboard adorned with premium finishes in charcoal, silver and bordeaux.
High-quality cloth upholstery is complimented by chrome accents. Drivers will appreciate the leather multi-function steering wheel and ergonomic design elements that enhance usability.

The infotainment system with centrally mounted display measures nine-inches in XR and seven-inches in XS models and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Naturally aspirated powertrain

The Starlet Cross utilises a familiar and robust 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that can be paired to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic transmission.

This powertrain generates 77kW at 6000rpm and 138Nm from 4 400rpm and offers a great combination between performance and fuel efficiency with Toyota claiming that manual models will use just 5,6 litres/100km and automatic variants 5,8 litres/100km on the combined cycle.

Comprehensive suite of safety features

The Toyota Starlet Cross is equipped with a variety of advanced technologies designed to safeguard occupants including ABS with EBS, Vehicle Stability Control and Hill Assist Control.

XR models are equipped with six airbags, including front, side and curtain airbags while XS derivatives are fitted with driver and passenger airbags.

A high level of standard specification

All XS models are kitted with three USB chargers, cruise control, leather tilt steering wheel, four-speakers and 16-inch black painted alloy wheels.

XR derivatives add to this with the addition of a tilt/telescopic adjustable steering wheel, electrochromic rearview mirror, colour multi-information display, wireless charger, driver seat height adjustment, push start and smart entry, heads-up display, 360-degree panoramic view monitor, reverse camera and 16-inch alloy wheels.

All Toyota Starlet models are sold with a four-services/60 000km service plan and three-year/100 000km warranty.
